As a very
proud, fifth generation Towns Countian, my love for these
mountains runs deep. My experience in real estate is diverse,
including the sales facet for seven years with Coldwell Banker
Nichols Jones and Associates in Hayesville, North Carolina
and the property tax administration field for fifteen years
with Towns County as well as Cobb and Coweta counties holding
an Appraiser IV designation.
Civic
and Community involvement have also been an enriching part
of my adult life with the philosophy that a community is
only as strong as those willing to give back. I have served
as Chairman/President of the Towns County Chamber of Commerce,
the Licklog Players Theater Group and as Secretary/Treasurer
for the Towns County Tourism Association. On the state level
for the Georgia Association of Assessing Officials I was
president in 1999-2000 and served on the statewide Executive
Board for seven years. I was chosen as a candidate and graduated
the Leadership Georgia Class of 1999.
In 2004 I was honored
as the first member from Towns County in Georgia
Trend’s
elite “40 under 40” publication.
In 2008 I was selected Towns County Director for the Northeast Georgia Board of Realtors, progressing to First Vice President for 2009. Also in 2008 I was honored to be commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel by the Governor of Kentucky.
With
numerous other board and committee appointments, I strive
to stay in close touch with what is going on in our community
and more importantly, with how we can improve our quality
of life.
I
would be honored to assist you in finding your dream property
in our Enchanted Valleys and you too will see why you may
come to visit but you’ll never want to leave. I look
forward to hearing from you and getting acquainted with you
soon.

Candace Lee, REALTOR®
Attracted by the incredible natural beauty and wide range of outdoor activities in northeast Georgia, I relocated my family from Atlanta to Blue Ridge in 1989. Both of my sons attended elementary, middle and high school in Fannin County and continued their educations at Piedmont College in nearby Habersham County.
During my 10 years as Executive Director of the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association in Blue Ridge, Georgia, I became familiar with the surrounding counties through my involvement with other non-profit organizations. In 2002, I was offered a job as President of the Towns County Chamber of Commerce and relocated to Hiawassee.
My experience in meeting and talking with visitors to this area showed that there was a real need for more personalized service to buyers looking for affordable homes and land in this area. Let me help you find what you are looking for at a price you can afford.
